Stockbridge, GA (My Sportsbook) - Annika Sorenstam posted a five-under 67 on Sunday to cruise to a 10-shot victory at the Chick-fil-A Charity Championship. Sorenstam set a new tournament record with her 23-under-par 265 total and earned her 60th career victory on the LPGA Tour.

Candie Kung birdied each of her last two holes to finish alone in second place at 13-under-par 275 after a round of 65. Last week's winner Cristie Kerr also shot a 65 to take third place at 12-under-par 276.

Sorenstam has amassed victories in all shapes and sizes throughout her career on the LPGA Tour and coming into the final round with a 10-shot lead was nothing new. Sorenstam also held a 10-shot lead through three rounds of the 1995 GHP Heartland Classic and won by the same margin.

She jumped out of the gate Sunday at Eagle's Landing Country Club and played her approach within 12 feet of the hole for a birdie at the first. Sorenstam then pitched her second shot to five feet at the short par-four seventh for another birdie.

The Swede was unflappable around the turn and took care of business on the inward half. Sorenstam hit her third shot to six feet for a birdie at the par- five 13th and ran home a nine-foot putt for a birdie at the par-four 14th.

At the par-five 18th, Sorenstam missed the green, but chipped her third shot to five feet and converted the short birdie try to win by 10.

"When I came out on tour I never thought I could win a single tournament, but now I'm here with 60," said Sorenstam. "I'm obviously very happy the way I played."

Kung tallied back-to-back birdies from the second, but gave a shot back with a bogey at the fourth. Kung recovered with a birdie at the sixth and picked up another birdie at the ninth.

The 23-year-old added a birdie at the 13th and missed a six-foot putt at the 14th that would have given her another birdie. Kung persisted and birdied the 15th to reach 11-under.

Kung hit her second shot to 12 feet for a birdie at the 17th and reached the green in two at the last. Kung two-putted for a closing birdie to take second place alone.

Kerr had a strong start with four birdies over her first nine holes. She added a birdie at the 13th and continued her fine play with a birdie at the 17th. Kerr then converted a five-foot putt for a birdie at the last to complete a bogey-free round.

Silvia Cavalleri, Emilee Klein and Wendy Ward tied for fourth place at 10- under-par 278. First-round leader Laura Davies was two shots further back at eight-under-par 280 along with Lorena Ochoa, Heather Bowie, Candy Hannemann and Birdie Kim.
