Los Angeles Lakers begin a four-game road trip on Tuesday when they travel to Minnesota to face the Timberwolves at the Target Center.
The Lakers are just 2-10 away from home this season, with their last road win coming against Memphis on November 29.
LA snapped a two-game losing streak with a 107-84 home win over the Orlando Magic on Sunday. Shaquille O'Neal poured in 30 points on 12-of-17 shooting and pulled down 14 rebounds to pace the Lakers.
Kobe Bryant contributed 21 points, eight assists and six rebounds for Los Angeles, and Derek Fisher added 19 points.
The Lakers shot 46 percent from the field, including 7-of-15 from three-point range, and made 26-of-30 free throws in the win.
Los Angeles is 7-8 against teams from the Western Conference this year.
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves had a two-game winning streak halted in their last outing, falling to the Portland Trail Blazers, 98-92, in overtime on Saturday. Kevin Garnett scored 21 points and grabbed eight boards to lead the T'wolves.
Joe Smith scored 10 points with 11 rebounds in the loss, while Troy Hudson had 14 points and seven assists. Anthony Peeler had 13 points off the bench for Minnesota.
Kendall Gill finished with 11 points and seven rebounds for Minnesota, which outscored Portland 17-9 in the fourth to force OT.
The Wolves are 7-4 at home this season and 7-5 against the Western Conference.
These teams met back on December 1 in Los Angeles, with the Wolves holding on for a 110-107 victory.
Minnesota has won three of the last four meetings overall. The Lakers have dropped two straight and three of their last four in Minneapolis.
