Houston, TX (My Sportsbook) - The Houston Comets Wednesday signed unrestricted free agent forward Adrienne Goodson. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not released. Goodson spent the first six years of her WNBA career with the San Antonio/Utah franchise. She was a third-round selection of the Starzz in the 1999 draft. In 188 career games, she has posted averages of 13.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per contest. Goodson was named to the 2002 WNBA West All-Star Team and has twice been selected as the league's Player of the Week. Meanwhile, the club waived guard Anastasia Kostaki. |
