Washington, DC (My Sportsbook) - The Washington Mystics announced on Friday that veteran forward Murriel Page will return to the team this upcoming season. As is club policy, terms of the deal were not released. "We are thrilled to have Murriel back with the Mystics," said general manager Linda Hargrove. "She has been an integral member of this team for seven seasons and her leadership will be important to us as we continue on our quest for a WNBA Championship." Page, who is known as the 'Original Mystic', was the team's first-ever draft choice, taken as the third pick overall in the 1998 draft. The 29-year-old Florida product has helped lead Washington to three postseason appearances (2000, 2002, 2004) and has averaged 7.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in her seven seasons. Washington kicks off its 2005 campaign on May 21 against the Charlotte Sting.
