New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - University of Miami-Florida starting center Brett Romberg won the Dave Rimington Trophy on Friday. The 6-3, 297-pounder edged out Notre Dame's Jeff Faine and Iowa's Bruce Nelson for the award, given to the nation's top center. Romberg was a finalist for the award last season. This year the senior was a finalist for the Outland Trophy, awarded to the top interior lineman in the nation. Defensive tackle Rien Long was awarded the Outland Trophy. |
