Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - The Philadelphia 76ers hope to halt a three-game losing streak on Friday when they welcome the Phoenix Suns to First Union Center.

The Sixers suffered their first home defeat of the season in their last outing, falling to the Seattle SuperSonics, 92-88, on Wednesday. Brent Barry nailed a shot from beyond the arc with 24 seconds left to put the Sonics ahead for good at 89-88.

Allen Iverson had 26 points for Philadelphia, while Keith Van Horn added 25. Eric Snow collected 13 points, eight assists and eight rebounds in the loss.

The Sixers scored just 28 points in the second half after scoring a season-high 60 points in the first 24 minutes.

Sixers guard Aaron McKie and forward Monty Williams left the game in the first half and did not return. McKie had flu-like symptoms, while Williams had a bone bruise on his left knee. McKie is expected to miss Friday's game and Williams will be out for 10-to-14 days.

Philadelphia is 10-1 at home this season and 3-3 against the Western Conference.

The Suns snapped a two-game losing streak in their last contest, downing the Celtics in Boston, 103-94, on Wednesday.

Shawn Marion scored 32 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Phoenix. Amare Stoudemire and former Celtic Joe Johnson each added 19 points and Stephon Marbury scored 18 in the win.

Phoenix, which improved to 1-2 on its five-game road trip, halted a five-game road losing streak. The Suns are just 2-7 overall on the road this season and 6-3 against the Eastern Conference.

The Sixers won both meetings with the Suns last season and have won three of the last four overall. Phoenix has dropped two straight in Philadelphia.
