La Plata, Argentina (My Sportsbook) - Sergio Aguero scored off a volley in the 76th minute as Argentina tied Bolivia, 1-1, on Friday night in the opening match of the Copa America. Edvialdo Rojas scored three minutes after halftime for Bolivia, but Aguero was able to rescue a point when he scored just six minutes after entering the game as a substitute. Nicolas Burdisso chested down a cross to play the ball to Aguero, who drove a full-volley to the left post from 12 yards for his 11th international goal. Argentina and Bolivia are level on one point atop Group A. Colombia plays Costa Rica in Group A in Saturday's lone game, and Brazil opens its tournament Sunday against Venezuela in Group B. |
