Eden Prairie, MN (My Sportsbook) - The Minnesota Vikings made multiple additions to their coaching staff on Wednesday. The following coaches were brought in: Bill Musgrave (offensive coordinator), Fred Pagac (defensive coordinator), Mike Priefer (special teams coordinator) and Mike Singletary (special assistant to the head coach/linebackers coach). Musgrave has spent the past five seasons in Atlanta as the quarterbacks coach. He was named assistant head coach prior to the 2010 season, a year in which the Falcons went 13-3 and claimed the NFC's No. 1 seed in the playoffs. Besides his 11-year NFL coaching experience, Musgrave spent six seasons as a backup QB behind Joe Montana, Steve Young and John Elway. Pagac takes over as defensive coordinator after serving five seasons as the Vikings linebackers coach. He has 10 years of NFL coaching experience and 23 years of experience in the college ranks at his alma mater Ohio State. Priefer spent the past two seasons as the Denver Broncos' special teams' coordinator. Over his nine seasons as a coach in the NFL, Priefer has seen his special teams units account for 12 scores on special teams (11 TDs, 1 safety) and 15 blocked kicks. Singletary comes to Minnesota after six years with the San Francisco 49ers, including three seasons as the head coach. He went 18-22 as head coach of the 49ers. Singletary entered the coaching ranks in 2003 with the Baltimore Ravens. The 52-year-old Singletary was a Hall of Fame linebacker for the Bears (1981-92). Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier was teammates with Singletary.
