Messina, Italy (My Sportsbook) - Forward Arturo Di Napoli signed a new contract with Messina on Tuesday which will keep him with the club until the 2008 campaign. Di Napoli, whose current contract was to expire at the end of this season, posted 19 goals last season en route to placing Messina back in Serie A for the first time in 39 years. The 30-year-old Di Napoli has registered five goals in 13 games so far this season. Messina has five wins and 21 points in 17 outings this year. They are currently in 13th place in the 20-team Serie A. |
