Moscow, Russia (My Sportsbook) - Brazilian striker Derlei has left Porto for Dynamo Moscow. Derlei, 29, was part of Porto's Champions League title winning team last season. He began his European career with UD Leiria during the 1999/00 season, and soon became a top goal-scorer. Derlei scored 21 goals in 33 matches during the 2001/02 season, but has recently struggled with a knee injuries. Porto, which lost Carlos Alberto to Corinthians on Saturday, was held to a 1-1 draw by Rio Ave on Sunday. Dynamo, which finished 13th in the 16-team Russian Premier League this past season, has been active in the transfer market. Miguel Gomes and Nuno Frechaut have signed and are expected to strengthen the squad immediately. |
