Moscow, Russia (My Sportsbook) - Newly crowned Russian champions Lokomotiv Moscow extended the contract of defender Vadim Evseev on Thursday. Evseev's current deal was set to run out at the end of December, but the extension will keep him with the club through 2007. Evseev, a Russian international, scored four goals as Lokomotiv won the Russian Premier League on the final day of the season. The title puts the club into next year's Champions League competition. Evseev, 30, has earned 16 caps for Russia. Fellow Russian international Dmitry Loskov also signed an extension with Lokomotiv earlier this week.
