IRVING, Texas (AP) - Safeties Barry Church and Danny McCray were among four undrafted rookies who made the Dallas Cowboys' initial 53-man roster. Fullback Chris Gronkowski and offensive lineman Phil Costa also made the squad. Veteran Sam Hurd kept his job, too, despite making $1.8 million and likely being the fifth receiver. His value on special teams and the need for an experienced receiver after Patrick Crayton was traded on Friday certainly worked to his advantage. Cornerback Jamar Wall, a sixth-round pick, was the only member of this year's draft class not to make the roster. He was among 20 players cut Saturday to reach the regular-season roster limit. Dallas cut three backup tight ends, leaving only starter Jason Witten and backup Martellus Bennett.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
