STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) -In a Sept. 1 story about Penn State selecting true freshman Robert Bolden its starting quarterback, The Associated Press, relying on information from the university, erroneously reported that it would be the first time a true freshman opened the season as starting quarterback. Penn State now says that Shorty Miller, a true freshman in 1910, started the first game of the season at quarterback.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
