St. Louis, MO (My Sportsbook) - Cornelius Bundrage unseated Cory Spinks with a continuous and unflinching attack on the reigning IBF junior middleweight champ, scoring a technical knockout in the fifth round to wrest away the title at Scottrade Center. Bundrage (30-4-0, 18 KOs), a Detroit native, got the chance to challenge for the title when a no contest was called in his June 2009 matchup with Yuri Foreman, who received an unintentional headbutt in the third round and was unable to continue. Spinks (37-6, 11 KOs) was counted out in the fifth after earlier falling through the ropes in an attempted escape from his counterpart. After stepping back in against Bundrage, he was sent to the canvas and a woozy look at the count of nine saw referee Mark Nelson stop the fight.
