Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - Cristie Kerr was No. 1 in the world rankings for women's golf for the second Monday in a row despite not playing last week. Kerr became the first American woman ranked No. 1 after he record-setting victory at the LPGA Championship, and only the fifth player overall to hold the top spot. She and No. 2 Ai Miyazato didn't play in the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic, but they still retained their positions. No. 3 Jiyai Shin was the highest-ranked player in the field last week and she finished a shot out of a four-way playoff, remaining third in the rankings. Suzann Pettersen, Yani Tseng and Anna Nordqvist remained in positions 4-6, while Song-Hee Kim, a playoff loser, moved up one spot to No. 7. Na Yeon Choi won the tournament in a four-way playoff -- in addition to Song- Hee Kim, Christina Kim and In Kyung Kim were also a part of the playoff -- and moved up three spots to No. 8. That dropped Karrie Webb down two places to ninth and Michelle Wie and Angela Stanford down one notch apiece to 10th and 11th. In Kyung Kim remained 12th, while Christina Kim moved up 14 places to 59th for her second-place tie.
