Milwaukee, WI (My Sportsbook) - The
Cleveland Cavaliers try to put an end to their 11-game losing streak on Wednesday when they travel to Milwaukee to face the Bucks.
Cleveland is hoping to avoid its first 12-game losing streak since January 4-26 of last season.
Most recently, the Cavs were defeated at home by the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, 91-85.
Cleveland did receive some good news Tuesday, as first-round pick Dajuan Wagner made his NBA debut and scored 17 points before fouling out late in the fourth quarter.
Wagner, the sixth overall pick in this year's draft, was hospitalized last month with a bladder infection. The 19-year-old rookie spent two weeks in the Cleveland Clinic before he underwent surgery to have a blood clot removed.
Ricky Davis scored 22 points to lead the Cavaliers, while Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 16 points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort.
The Cavs are 1-8 on the road this season and 0-6 against the Eastern Conference.
The Bucks return home after a 1-2 road trip on which they dropped their last two contests. Milwaukee is coming off an 86-81 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Monday.
Sam Cassell paced Milwaukee with 22 points. Michael Redd had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Bucks, who scored a season-low in points.
Milwaukee played without leading scorer Ray Allen, who was placed on the injured list with a sprained right ankle prior to the game. Meanwhile, Anthony Mason (hamstring) missed his second straight game for the Bucks and teammate Tim Thomas was forced to leave the contest in the third quarter with a sore back.
Mason and Thomas are both questionable for Wednesday's affair.
The Bucks are 4-2 at home this season and 5-4 against the Eastern Conference.
The Cavs won three of the four meetings with Milwaukee last season, including the last two. Cleveland has also won two straight after dropping its previous seven at Milwaukee.
