Memphis Grizzlies look to feed off the momentum of their first win of the season Wednesday when they host the Seattle SuperSonics at the Pyramid.
After a franchise-worst 0-13 start, the Grizzlies finally claimed their first victory of the year on Saturday against the Washington Wizards, 85-74.
Earl Watson scored 17 points and Wesley Person dropped 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting. Gordan Giricek netted 11, while Stromile Swift and Lorenzen Wright each chipped in 10 to help lead the Grizzlies, who shot 53 percent from the floor.
The game was tied at 74-74 with 3:20 to go. but Memphis ended the contest on a 11-0 burst to run away with the win.
Hubie Brown, who improved to 1-5 as coach of Memphis, won his first NBA game since November 24, 1986.

The Grizzlies, who play the second of a four-game homestand Wednesday, are just 1-6 at home this season and 0-10 versus the Western Conference.
After a fast start, the Sonics have been slumping recently. On Tuesday, Seattle fell for the fourth time in five games, losing at Atlanta in overtime, 119-116.
Seattle had two chances to tie the contest at the end of the extra session, but Brent Barry and Rashard Lewis both missed on shots from behind the arc.
Gary Payton had 32 points and eight assists for the Sonics and Desmond Mason added 23 points for Seattle. Lewis, who hit the game-tying bucket at the end of regulation, scored 18 points and Barry had 15.
The Sonics play the final game of a four-game road trip on Wednesday. Seattle is 6-4 on the road this season and 7-2 against the Western Conference.
Seattle won all four meetings with the Grizzlies last season and has won seven in a row overall. The Sonics have also claimed 23 of the last 25 matchups. The Grizzlies have dropped three straight home games to the Sonics.
