Los Angeles, CA (My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Clippers placed forward Corey Maggette on the injured list Tuesday with torn cartilage in his right knee. The team in turn activated forward Melvin Ely from the injured list. Maggette is averaging 14.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest through 14 games. He is expected to be sidelined four-to-six weeks. Last season, Maggette had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. Ely has been on the injured list since October 28 with a sprained left foot. Ely is a rookie out of Fresno State. |
