Nashville, TN (My Sportsbook) - The Tennessee Titans have signed unrestricted free agent defensive end Jason Babin to an offer sheet. Babin played in 12 games last season and recorded 20 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks for the Eagles, who have a right-of-first-refusal clause written into his previous contract, giving them seven days to match Tennessee's offer. The 29-year-old has played in parts of seven seasons for Philadelphia, Kansas City, Seattle and Houston, which made him a first-round pick (27th overall) in 2004 out of Western Michigan. In 66 career games, Babin has compiled 197 tackles and 17 1/2 sacks. |
