Surprise, AZ (My Sportsbook) - Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton exited Monday night's Cactus League game against the San Francisco Giants in the third inning after taking a pitch off his left hand. Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner threw a fastball that hit Hamilton's left hand, just below his pinkie finger. The Rangers outfielder was immediately replaced by pinch-runner Brandon Boggs. Preliminary X-rays were negative but he will be re-evaluated Tuesday. In 89 games last season, Hamilton batted .268 with 54 RBI and 10 homers.
