Oakland, CA (My Sportsbook) - Rookie Stephen Curry finished with 35 points and Monta Ellis had 31, as the guards helped the Golden State Warriors end a six-game slide with a 124-112 win over the Toronto Raptors.

Curry, who was one point off his career high, added 10 assists and six rebounds, while Ellis was playing in his second contest since a six-game absence. They sank five three-pointers apiece to lead Golden State's potent long-distance attack, as the Warriors finished 16-of-27 from beyond the arc overall.

"Oh, it's great to see," Warriors head coach Don Nelson said of Curry and Ellis. "They've played some really good games together and of course they've played some not-so-good games together. It's great to see when they share the ball and take care of each other when they're open."

Corey Maggette added 20 points in the victory, which got Nelson closer to Lenny Wilkens' all-time record for coaching wins. In his 31st season as an NBA head coach, Nelson now has 1,327 wins and is six away from breaking Wilkens' record of 1,332.

Chris Bosh had 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Jose Calderon ended with 24 points and 12 assists for the Raptors, who have lost four in a row and eight of nine.

Toronto ended the first quarter on a 15-2 run to take a 35-25 advantage, but the Warriors charged back in the second.

Reggie Williams and C.J. Watson sank threes to end a 13-0 burst that put Golden State ahead 45-42 with 5:20 to play. Toronto edged back in front, and a Jarrett Jack three had the Raptors ahead 60-56 at the break.

However, the Warriors took charge with an explosive third quarter, when they made 7-of-10 from beyond the arc, and 16-of-25 from the field overall. That helped Golden State to a 97-85 advantage after three frames.

"We felt like we were still in the game, and we had to scrap to stay in it and get the lead, and especially late in the third quarter you don't want to let them get a run going," Curry said. "We just dug down defensively, made them take tough shots and got rebounds and pushed it in transition."

Two DeMar DeRozan buckets had the Raptors within 104-96 with just under seven minutes left, but Curry followed with back-to-back jumpers, and the Warriors held on from there.

Game Notes

Golden State shot 47.4 percent overall...DeRozan had 18 points for Toronto, which shot 56.6 percent from the floor but had 18 turnovers, leading to 24 Golden State points.
