Baltimore, MD (My Sportsbook) - The Baltimore Ravens Saturday placed linebacker Peter Boulware on the physically unable to perform list and the veteran will miss at least the first six games of the upcoming season. Boulware, a four-time Pro Bowl selection, is still recovering from a knee injury that prematurely ended his 2003 season. By placing the veteran on the physically unable to perform list, Boulware can't practice with club until at least the sixth week of the season. Baltimore will have until week nine to decide if Boulware will return for the 2004 season. "It's frustrating, especially now that it's game-time and everybody's getting ready and the season's about to crank up," said Boulware. "This is what [I] love to do, and I'm going to have to sit out and wait and watch it from the sidelines. Hopefully, I'll be ready when the time comes." The product out of Florida State is entering his seventh season and stands as the team's all-time sacks leader with 67 1/2.
