Dubai, United Arab Emirates (My Sportsbook) - Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Russia's Mikhail Youzhny will need to wait another day to complete the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships, as heavy rain halted play in the second set. Djokovic, the second seed and defending champion, was ahead 7-5, 2-0 when play was stopped after 79 minutes. The two will return to the court on Sunday. Youzhny gained an early break in the first set, but Djokovic soon broke back and captured the first set with a break of serve in the 12th game. He then won the first two games of the second set with another service break. An extra day might help Youzhny regroup. Youzhny was the 2007 runner-up at this event to the great Roger Federer. Djokovic is playing in his 28th career final and seeking a 17th ATP title. This marks his first final of 2010, after he reached 10 title tilts (5-5) last season. Youzhny, meanwhile, is competing in his 14th career final and trying for his sixth title. He was a runner-up in Rotterdam earlier this month. Djokovic and Youzhny have split six career meetings, but the Russian took their last encounter in a semifinal in Rotterdam just two weeks ago. The winner will collect $383,000.
