Austin, TX (My Sportsbook) - Marcus Morris posted 18 points, eight rebounds and four assists, as No. 1 Kansas overcame a poor shooting performance by clamping down defensively on the 14th-ranked Longhorns to earn an 80-68 Big 12 victory. The Jayhawks (23-1, 9-0) made up for their 40 percent shooting effort by converting 17 turnovers into 27 points for their ninth straight victory. Xavier Henry added 15 points and five rebounds, while Sherron Collins had five assists and four steals to go with 15 points on 3-of-13 shooting for the victors. Texas (19-5, 5-4), which was the top-ranked team in the country just three weeks ago, has lost five of its last seven games following a torrid 17-0 start to the season. J'Covan Brown paced the Longhorns with a career-high 28 points, while Damion James chipped in 24 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks in defeat.

Final Score: (4) Villanova 82, (5) West Virginia 75

Morgantown, WV (My Sportsbook) - Scottie Reynolds scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half, as No. 4 Villanova handed fifth-ranked West Virginia an 82-75 defeat in a Big East showdown at WVU Coliseum. The Wildcats (21-2, 10-1 Big East) rebounded from a 103-90 drubbing at Georgetown on Saturday -- their first setback in conference play -- by shooting 56.9 percent from the floor and 19-of-22 from the foul line. Reynolds made all 10 of his free throw attempts and handed out five assists for Villanova, which received a 17- point effort from Corey Fisher. Antonio Pena chipped in 10 points and nine rebounds in helping to snap West Virginia's (19-4, 8-3) six-game win streak. Darryl Bryant netted 15 points, while Da'Sean Butler and Devin Ebanks each scored 13 for the Mountaineers, though Butler had just one point in the second half.

Final Score: (18) Butler 62, Loyola-Chicago 47

Indianapolis, IN (My Sportsbook) - Matt Howard went 12-of-14 from the free throw line in a 20-point effort, and 18th-ranked Butler used a big second half to down Loyola-Chicago, 62-47, and clinch a share of the Horizon League title. Willie Veasley added 12 points and eight rebounds for the Bulldogs (21-4, 14-0 Horizon), who clinched at least a share of their fourth straight league title with their 13th consecutive victory. Butler will go for the outright championship against Youngstown State on Thursday. Geoff McCammon and Walt Gibler had nine points apiece to lead the Ramblers (13-11, 4-10), who have lost six of seven. Courtney Stanley and Terrance Hill each added eight points in defeat.

Final Score: (25) Pittsburgh 77, Robert Morris 53

Pittsburgh, PA (My Sportsbook) - Ashton Gibbs scored a game-high 20 points, and 25th-ranked Pittsburgh crushed non-conference foe Robert Morris, 77-53, at Petersen Events Center. Jermaine Dixon added 18 points for the Panthers (18-6), who had lost four of six and resume conference play on Friday against rival West Virginia. Brad Wanamaker had 12 points and 10 rebounds in the win for Pitt, which is a perfect 28-0 against Robert Morris in its history. Karon Abraham led the Colonials (16-9) with 16 points, but Robert Morris' nine-game win streak came to a screeching halt. Russell Johnson added 11 points, while Velton Jones and Mezie Nwigwe had 10 each in the setback.
