La Quinta, CA (My Sportsbook) - The second round of the Bob Hope Classic has been postponed until Friday because of inclement weather. Rain forced officials to push tee times back two hours on Thursday before the decision was made around 9:50 a.m. local time (12:50 p.m. ET) to postpone the round without a shot being struck. Tee times will remain the same and the second round is scheduled to start Friday at 8:30 a.m. local time. Shane Bertsch fired a 10-under 62 on Wednesday to grab a two-stroke lead over Alex Prugh and Jeff Quinney after the first round. This is the only five-round event on the PGA Tour and the professionals play with three amateurs each of the first four days. With the amateurs in play, there are four courses involved this week -- the Arnold Palmer Classic Course at SilverRock Resort, La Quinta Country Club, and the Jack Nicklaus Private Course and Arnold Palmer Private Course at PGA West. Bertsch's 62 on Wednesday came on the Nicklaus Private Course at PGA West. The Palmer Private Course at PGA West will host the fifth and final round.
