Mooresville, NC (My Sportsbook) - Braun Racing will make its foray into NASCAR's top racing series by competing in at least five Sprint Cup events during the 2010 season. Sprint Cup veteran Reed Sorenson will drive the No.32 Toyota for the team in the next month's season-opener at Daytona, as well as Atlanta in March, Chicagoland and Indianapolis during July and the October race at Charlotte. Dollar General will sponsor the team's efforts. Sorenson also will run a limited schedule in this year's Nationwide Series campaign, driving Braun's No.32 entry. Braun has competed in the Nationwide Series since 2003, and currently fields three teams in NASCAR's second-tier circuit. "Fielding a car in the Daytona 500 has been one of my lifelong dreams," team owner Todd Braun said in a statement. "It is incredibly exciting to have the opportunity to realize that dream." Sorenson most recently drove the No.43 car for Richard Petty Motorsports. His best finish in 145 Sprint Cup starts so far is third, which came in the 2007 fall race at Atlanta.
