Statesville, NC (My Sportsbook) - Front Row Motorsports revealed Wednesday its switch to Ford Racing for the 2010 Sprint Cup Series season. The team also announced that Travis Kvapil will drive the No.34 car and Kevin Conway will compete for rookie of the year honors in the series, driving the No.37 entry. Long John Silver's will sponsor Kvapil's efforts this upcoming season, while sponsorship for Conway's team is expected to be announced at a later date. FRM will receive engines from Roush/Yates Racing Engines and technical support from Ford. The team fielded Chevrolets for driver John Andretti last season. "Obviously this is the next step for our guys and the organization," team owner Bob Jenkins said in a statement. "To have support from Ford, along with the quality engines from Roush/Yates, this is a big leap forward for us. Travis is a champion and a veteran of this series. We expect him to take us to the next level and at the same time be a great mentor to Kevin who is competing for rookie of the year. I have confidence that they can help us get to the next level." Kvapil, 33, drove for Yates during the 2008 season, finishing 23rd in points. His team ceased operations last season due to lack of sponsorship. Kvapil is the 2003 Truck Series champion. "It's great to be back racing on the Sprint Cup tour again with Front Row Motorsports and Ford Racing," Kvapil said. "I have experience with Ford and Roush/Yates Racing Engines, and I feel good about what we can do on the track this season." Conway, 31, will attempt to make his Cup debut in the season-opening Daytona 500. He ran a limited schedule in the Nationwide Series last year. "This is a great opportunity to compete at the highest levels of NASCAR," Conway said.
