Kazan, Russia (My Sportsbook) - Latvian captain and midfielder Vitalijs Astafjevs has reached an 18-month agreement with FC Rubin Kazan. Rubin picked up Astafjevs on a free transfer from VfB Admira Wacker Modling of the Austrian Bundesliga. He could be ready to debut with Rubin as early as Thursday when it takes on SK Rapid Wulen in a UEFA Cup qualifier. Rubin is in ninth place after 18 games of the Russian Premier League season. |
