Detroit, MI (My Sportsbook) - Mayce Webber Jr., the father of Sacramento Kings All-Star forward Chris Webber, was arraigned on Tuesday on charges that he lied to a grand jury concerning his son's dealing with a booster from the University of Michigan. Webber, who was indicted on September 9, 2002, pleaded innocent but could face up to five years in prison and a maximum of a $250,000 fine if convicted. Webber is said to have lied about the amount of money that he and his son received from Michigan booster Ed Martin. Martin admitted to giving the Webber family about $280,000 in cash and gifts. Martin will be sentenced on October 8. Webber was released on $10,000 bond on Tuesday.
