Auburn Hills, MI (My Sportsbook) - The Detroit Pistons sent guard Arron Afflalo, forward Walter Sharpe and cash considerations to the Denver Nuggets on Monday in exchange for a future second-round pick. Afflalo, the 27th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, played nearly 17 minutes a game for Detroit last season, his second year in the league. The UCLA product has averaged 4.3 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in his brief career. Sharpe appeared in just eight games in his rookie season with the Pistons last year. The move cleared roughly $1.8 million in salary cap space for Detroit this season.
