Sacramento, CA (My Sportsbook) - The
Sacramento Kings try to avenge an earlier loss to Orlando when they welcome the Magic to ARCO Arena this evening.
Orlando has lost three of its last four games on the heels of a three-game winning streak. The Magic defeated the Kings during that surge, 125-121 at TD Waterhouse Centre. Tracy McGrady scored 41 points in the win.
Bobby Jackson scored 16 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter for Sacramento in defeat. He also drove the lane for what appeared to be a game-tying layup that was waved off as he was called for an offensive foul for crashing into Mike Miller.
"Obviously, you don't make that call at the end of the game,'' Jackson said. "If I'm Tracy McGrady or Grant Hill or any marquee guy, I'm guaranteed they're not going to call a charge.''
Speaking of Miller, he is questionable for tonight's action with an ankle injury.
The Magic are 3-2 on the road this season and have a 3-3 mark against teams from the Western Conference.
Sacramento is coming off a 111-97 loss to the Seattle SuperSonics.
Chris Webber scored 24 points on 11-of-16 shooting, but the Kings hurt themselves with 18 turnovers that led to 23 Sonic points. Jackson added 19, Damon Jones had 12 and Doug Christie scored 10.
"They just came and took it from us,'' Webber said. "They beat us to the boards. I think Seattle thinks they can out-tough us, and tonight they did that. That's not the way to lose. We have to give a better effort.''
The Kings have not lost at ARCO in four tries and are 2-3 against Eastern Conference foes.
