Lake Forest, IL (My Sportsbook) - Chicago Bears defensive back Reggie Austin will miss the remainder of the season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Austin suffered the injury during Chicago's 33-30 loss to the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. The loss was the Bears' seventh in a row. The Wake Forest product had 21 tackles -- 16 solo -- and two interceptions in nine games this season. Austin cracked the Bears active roster for the first time in his career in 2001 and played in nine games, appearing primarily on special teams while also filling in as an extra defensive back.
