Seattle, WA (My Sportsbook) - Ryan Gomes scored 23 points and hauled in 15 rebounds to lead the
Minnesota Timberwolves in a 121-116 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics.

A Ridnour three-pointer, a Durant jumper and a Green three-point play cut Seattle's deficit to 105-100 with about six minutes left in regulation.
Jefferson countered with a layup for the T'Wolves, but Durant converted on a three-point play to make it 107-103.
Six unanswered Minnesota points ballooned the T'Wolves' cushion to 10 points, 115-105, with a shade under 2 1/2 minutes left. Foye had a free throw, as Snyder gave three points and Gomes closed the scoring out with a bucket.
The Sonics wouldn't pose a serious threat the rest of the way.
The clubs were tied at 32 after the first quarter, but the Sonics took a 60-57 lead at the break.
Six unanswered Seattle points put the Sonics up 66-57 not two minutes into the third quarter. Petro's reverse layup sparked the mini-run, a Durant bucket kept it going and two foul shots from Green closed it out.
A Foye three-ball set the tone for a 7-0 Minnesota run. McCants scored the final four points to pull the T'Wolves within one, 77-76, with 5:16 on the clock.
Moments later, eight straight Minnesota free throws put the T'Wolves ahead 84-80. Snyder hit a pair, as did Gomes, McCants and Chris Richard on the mini- spurt.
Mickael Gelabale briefly interrupted with a bucket for Seattle, though, McCants responded with five more points and Gomes hit a three to close out the 16-2 run which gave Minnesota a 10-point, 92-82, lead with under 90 ticks left before the fourth.
The T'Wolves led 97-88 heading into the final 12 minutes of play.
"We did not guard anyone in the third quarter, they just put their heads down and went anywhere they wanted to and it showed on the scoreboard," Seattle's Nick Collison said.
Back-to-back layups from Smith and McCants opened a 101-88 Minnesota lead with 11:06 still to play.
"We gave up too many shots, that should not happen," Foye said. "Coach was happy with the win but he was not happy with our defense."
