=== Memphis Grizzlies Team Report - December 31 === (My Sportsbook) - The Memphis Grizzlies lost to the Seattle SuperSonics, 105-99, on Tuesday at The Pyramid. Pau Gasol was a one-man gang with 32 points and 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have lost seven in a row. Memphis guard Bonzi Wells missed the game, as he is still suffering from the effects of the concussion he suffered on Monday at Indiana. After an alley-oop from Earl Watson to Dahntay Jones gave Memphis an 80-78 edge 2 1/2 minutes into the fourth, the Sonics ran off nine straight points to jump back into the lead for good. Rashard Lewis and Ray Allen made back-to- back threes to ignite the run that put Seattle up 87-80. A three-point play by Lewis closed out the spurt. Gasol converted two free throws with 1:24 left to get Memphis within 98-95, but a dunk by Lewis with 26 ticks left made it 103-97, putting the exclamation point on the win. Memphis activated Jones and put guard Troy Bell on the injured list prior to the game. The Grizzlies are off until Friday when they host Matt Harpring and the Utah Jazz.
