Seattle comes into tonight's contest following a hard-fought road- victory over the Houston Rockets on Monday. Ray Allen poured in a game-high 28 points and hit a huge free throw with just four seconds remaining to lead the Sonics to an 87-86 win at the Toyota Center. Brent Barry and Vladimir Radmanovic each added 12 points, while Rashard Lewis chipped in with 13 for the Sonics, who won for the third time in four games. Allen, Lewis and Reggie Evans each grabbed eight boards for Seattle, which improved to 7-6 away from home this season. However it was just the Sonics' third win in their last eight away from home. Memphis defeated Seattle earlier in the season, but the Sonics have won 10 of the last 12 matchups. Seattle has also won seven of nine and 12 of its last 15 on the Grizzlies' court. |
