Seattle, WA (My Sportsbook) - Seattle SuperSonics center Robert Swift will miss the rest of the season with a torn meniscus in his right knee. Swift suffered the injury on February 21 against Cleveland and is scheduled to undergo surgery on Tuesday, March 4. The 22-year-old appeared in just eight games this season after coming back from a torn ACL in the same knee that cost him all of last season. In three seasons with Seattle, Swift has averaged 4.7 points, four rebounds and 1.0 block per game. The Sonics also waived forward Ira Newble Friday. Newble, who was acquired by the team in a trade with the Cavs on February 21, played just 17 minutes in two games for Seattle.
