Seattle enters tonight's tilt on a sour note after last night's heartbreaking 92-91 overtime loss to the Phoenix Suns. Rashard Lewis delivered a game-high 27 points and pulled down 13 rebounds for the SuperSonics, who fell for the fifth time in their last seven games. Antonio Daniels added 18 points and 10 boards, while Vladimir Radmanovic. notched 16 points and 14 boards. After Seattle took a 91-90 edge on a tip-in by Calvin Booth, Phoenix hit the winning shot when Shawn Marion converted an alley-oop tip-in from Anfernee Hardaway with 5.6 seconds to play. Seattle, which will close its homestand on Friday against San Antonio, is 6-5 on its home court this season. The Sonics took three of four from the Nuggets last season and could have the advantage tonight, as the home team in this series has won 10 of the last 14 meetings. Denver has also dropped 18 of its last 20 and 27 of its last 30 in Seattle. |
