Chicago Bulls play the fourth of a six-game road trip when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers tonight at the Rose Garden.
This is the second and final meeting of the campaign between the clubs. On January 3rd, Brandon Roy scored 25 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out 11 assists as the Trail Blazers needed two overtimes to defeat the Bulls, 115-109, at the United Center.
Chicago has won two of its last three at Portland.
The Bulls are 1-2 on the swing. Joe Smith scored 25 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead Chicago past the Seattle SuperSonics, 118-108, on Monday at KeyArena.
Ben Gordon had 20 points for the Bulls, who are 2-4 in their last six games overall. Kirk Hinrich ended with 15 points and five assists, while Aaron Gray and Andres Nocioni scored 14 points apiece in the victory.
On the injury front for Chicago, Hinrich (ribs) is doubtful and forward Tyrus Thomas (sprained left foot) is questionable.
Chicago is 9-15 on the road this season. The Bulls will also visit Golden State and Utah on the trip.
Portland concludes a six-game homestand on Tuesday. It is 2-3 on the stand. On Monday, Allen Iverson's jumper in the final second of overtime lifted the Nuggets to a 105-103 win over the Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.
Roy finished with 26 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, but his jumper with 3:01 left in overtime represented the final points for Portland, which has dropped four of its last six games overall. Jarrett Jack ended with 17 points, nine rebounds and nine assists, but also had seven turnovers, including a key miscue in the final minute of the extra period.
The Trail Blazers are 19-6 at home this season. After tonight's game, they will embark on a four-game road trip to Detroit, Indiana, Houston and Dallas.
