Columbus, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Columbus Blue Jackets placed defensemen Rostislav Klesla and Jaroslav Spacek on injured reserve Monday. Klesla is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a sprained medial collateral ligament. The 21-year-old suffered the injury in the Blue Jackets' 5-3 loss to Washington on November 29. Klesla, the organization's first-ever draft pick in 2000 (fourth overall), has recorded five assists in 18 games this season. Spacek is day-to-day with a groin strain, suffered during Columbus' 4-2 loss at Nashville on November 26. Spacek has registered eight assists in 22 games this year. He led all Blue Jackets' defensemen in goals (nine), assists (36) and points (45) last season.
