Dallas, TX (My Sportsbook) - Dallas Stars' defenseman Philippe Boucher underwent surgery Saturday to repair a broken left eye socket, which he injured when he was hit in the face with a puck. Boucher is out indefinitely and will be re-examined in two weeks. He was hit in the Stars' 2-0 win over New Jersey Friday when a deflected puck caught him in the face with 2:37 remaining. Doctors placed five plates and screws around Boucher's left orbital bone to help it heal. Boucher has three goals and four assists with 37 penalty minutes in 23 games this season. He signed with the Stars prior to the 2002-03 season, but missed most of the year with a foot injury.
