Portland, OR (My Sportsbook) - Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas is not expected to play in the team's final two games of a road trip due to a lower abdominal injury. Arenas, Washington's leading scorer, suffered the injury with just under five minutes left in Sunday's loss to the Seattle SuperSonics. According to team officials, an x-ray of Arenas' groin and lower abdominal area showed that there were no muscles torn off the bone. Arenas is averaging 20.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game for the Wizards. The 21-year-old Arenas, who was signed to a six-year, $64 million free-agent contract last summer, will be replaced by veteran Chris Whitney for Tuesday's game against Portland and Wednesday's game against the Lakers.
