Milwaukee, WI (My Sportsbook) - The
Milwaukee Bucks play their first home game of the season Saturday when they host the
Orlando Magic at the Bradley Center.
The Bucks have owned the Magic recently, taking two of three meetings last season and 11 of the last 12 overall. The Magic have also dropped their last eight contests at Milwaukee.
Orlando's last win at the Bradley Center came on April 8, 1997, when it posted a 97-82 victory.
Milwaukee was edged by Philadelphia in its season-opener on Wednesday, 95-93, as Allen Iverson scored 28 points and gave the Sixers the lead for good with 37 seconds remaining.
Ray Allen, who was questionable for the contest with an ankle injury, led the Bucks with 28 points on 10-of-19 shooting. Former Sixer Toni Kukoc scored 18 points, including four three-pointers, while Sam Cassell added 17 points and Michael Redd chipped in 11.
The Bucks' Anthony Mason fell out of the starting lineup an hour before game time, and did not play because of a hamstring injury. He is questionable for Saturday's game.
The Magic are coming off their first loss of the season on Friday, a 111-105 setback at Minnesota. Orlando had beaten Philadelphia and Miami in its first two games of the year.
Grant Hill poured in a game-high 27 points, pulled down seven boards and handed out five assists for the Magic. Hill was also a perfect 17-of-17 from the free throw line. Darrell Armstrong chipped in with 21 points and Tracy McGrady finished with 18 in the losing effort.
Mike Miller ended with 16 points and eight rebounds in the defeat.
