Anaheim, CA (My Sportsbook) - Forward Steve Rucchin of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim had knee surgery over the weekend and is expected to be out for the start of Ducks' training camp. After experiencing soreness in his right knee during workouts with the team last month, a procedure was performed on Saturday. Rucchin is expected to miss several weeks. The 32-year-old Rucchin tallied 20 goals and 38 assists in 82 games last season for Anaheim, which lost in seven games to New Jersey in the Stanley Cup Finals. Originally selected by the Mighty Ducks in the first round (second overall) of the 1994 NHL Supplemental Draft, Rucchin has totaled 133 goals and 256 assists in 534 career games, all with Anaheim.
