Buenos Aires, Argentina (My Sportsbook) - Miguel Angel Russo will replace Ricardo La Volpe as Boca Juniors' coach after the team lost the Argentine championship in a playoff earlier this week. Volpe, whose team lost three straight games to lose the Argentine Apertura title to end the season - including a playoff loss to Estudiantes - had told the media prior to the playoff that if his team lost he would resign. La Volpe coached Boca Juniors after coaching in Mexico for 26 years. He was replace by Hugo Sanchez as the head coach of Mexican national team after coaching the national side from 2002 until the 2006 World Cup, when Mexico lost in the second round to Argentina.
