New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Seattle SuperSonics forward Rashard Lewis has been suspended by the league for Wednesday's season-finale against Phoenix. Lewis was ejected from Monday's game against Dallas late in the third quarter after picking up his second technical foul. He then threw his mouthpiece in the direction of a referee. The league, in a statement Tuesday, said Lewis was suspended for "throwing objects at a game official." Lewis had 21 points and 10 rebounds in Seattle's 109-106 loss. He will finish the season averaging 18.1 points and 6.5 rebounds in 76 games.
