San Antonio Spurs try for their 11th straight win when they welcome the Seattle SuperSonics to SBC Center.
Seattle has won three of its last four games, most recently a 100-92 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Ray Allen scored 33 points and Rashard Lewis added 19 points and eight rebounds to the victory.
"Prime-time players perform in pressure situations," Allen said. "That's what we have to develop. This team has guys who can do more than make shots."
The Sonics are 15-23 on the road and have a 25-23 mark within the Western Conference.
San Antonio currently owns the top seed in the Western Conference after an 84-79 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Tony Parker scored 15 points and Bruce Bowen added 13 points. Stephen Jackson added 10 points and 11 rebounds to the victory.
"It's good to be able to have a game like this tonight and the team still find a way to win," Tim Duncan said.
San Antonio has been playing the Association's best basketball since All Star Weekend. The Spurs have won 17 of their last 18 road games, which is an almost unprecedented clip. Since January 29, the Spurs are a blistering 28-3 overall.
The Spurs have won six straight and nine of their last 11 home games. San Antonio is 32-7 at home this season and has a 34-14 mark within the Western Conference.
San Antonio has a one-game lead on the Dallas Mavericks for both the Midwest Division and top seed in the Western Conference. The second-seeded Sacramento Kings are just two games back.
San Antonio has won two of the three meetings between the teams this season and nine of the last 13 overall.
The Spurs have a slim 57-55 edge in the all-time series.
