Salt Lake City, UT (My Sportsbook) - Two teams looking for their third straight win meet up on Friday when the
Sacramento Kings travel to Utah to battle the Jazz at the Delta Center.
Sacramento currently leads the Pacific Division by 3 1/2 games over the Portland Trail Blazers. The Kings hold the second seed in the Western Conference, four games behind the first-place Dallas Mavericks.
The Kings are coming off a huge 96-95 overtime victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Chris Webber shook off a sore ankle to score 25 points, including five in overtime. Webber also pulled down 11 rebounds, while teammate Peja Stojakovic chipped in 20 points and 11 boards.
Vlade Divac collected 16 points and 10 rebounds and Doug Christie contributed 14 points and six boards for Sacramento, which has won seven of its last eight contests.
The Kings are 17-14 on the road this season and 27-13 against Western Conference foes.
The Jazz are clinging to the sixth position in the West and hold just a 1 1/2- game lead over the seventh-seeded Los Angeles Lakers.
Utah has won back-to-back games on the heels of a three-game losing streak. Most recently, the Jazz posted a 94-83 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Wednesday.
Karl Malone had 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Jazz. Andrei Kirilenko totaled 19 points and a career-high 11 boards for Utah.
Utah returned to the comfort of its own home, where it is now 22-9 on the season. The Jazz had just finished off a disappointing, 1-3 road trip.
DeShawn Stevenson chipped in 13 points and John Stockton registered 12 and eight assists for the Jazz.
Utah is 22-15 against teams from the Western Conference.
These teams have already met twice this season. The Kings claimed a 98-96 victory in Utah on December 14 before the Jazz captured a 102-92 win in Sacramento on January 28.
The Kings have won seven of the past eight meetings overall. Sacramento has also won five straight in Salt Lake City.
