KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Defensive tackle Lional Dalton has agreed to terms on a four-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, locking up their last remaining free-agent starter after fullback Tony Richardson signed with the Minnesota Vikings earlier in the week. Terms of the deal, reached Thursday and announced Friday, were not disclosed. The Chiefs were in the market for defensive line help before re-signing Dalton, an unrestricted free agent. The 6-foot-1, 315-pound veteran has started in 27 games for Kansas City since coming over from the Washington Redskins in 2004. He had 46 tackles and a sack last year. He has spent time with the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens, where he helped win a Super Bowl following the 2000 season. The Chiefs already have defensive tackles Ryan Sims, John Browning and Junior Siavii on their roster. Defensive end Jimmy Wilkerson, a restricted free agent, also can play tackle.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
