=== Falcons pick up Abraham in three-way trade === Atlanta, GA (My Sportsbook) - The Atlanta Falcons acquired defensive end John Abraham in a three-way trade with the Denver Broncos and New York Jets on Wednesday. Atlanta traded its first-round pick (15th overall) to Denver in exchange for the Broncos second of two 2006 first-round draft picks (29th overall), a 2006 third-round pick (93rd overall) and a 2007 fourth-round pick. Atlanta then traded the 2006 first-round draft pick obtained from Denver to New York in exchange for Abraham. Abraham recorded 67 tackles, 10.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two passes defensed last season. The 6-foot-4, 258-pounder has recorded 328 tackles, 53.5 sacks, 18 forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries over his six-year career with the Jets. He has appeared in 73 games, including 63 starts, since being selected out of South Carolina in the first round (13th overall) of the 2000 NFL Draft. Abraham is a three-time Pro Bowl selection (2001, '02, '04), and ranks fourth on the Jets all-time career sack list.
