Washington Wizards attempt to capture their third straight win on Saturday when they welcome the
Indiana Pacers to MCI Center.
The Wizards are coming off a 107-82 drubbing of the Bulls in Chicago on Thursday.
Jerry Stackhouse poured in 28 points and Kwame Brown added 20 points and 12 rebounds for Washington.
Michael Jordan returned to Chicago and scored 10 points against his former team. He also handed out five assists and pulled down five rebounds, as the Wizards dominated the battle of the boards, outrebounding the Bulls 53-32.
Tyronn Lue added 14 points and Larry Hughes netted 11, as the Wizards won for the third time in the last four games.
Washington is 10-6 at home this season and 11-10 against the Eastern Conference.
Meanwhile, the Pacers had a four-game winning streak halted in their last outing, dropping a 98-96 decision to the New York Knicks on Friday.
Jermaine O'Neal scored 24 and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Pacers, who blew a 17-point halftime lead. Indiana was outscored 57-38 in the second half, including 30-17 in the fourth quarter.
Brad Miller chipped in 20 points and also ripped down 12 boards, but missed a potential game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer. Reggie Miller netted 11 for Indiana and Jamaal Tinsley ended with 10 points, eight assists and seven rebounds.
Indiana, which plays the third of a four-game road trip Saturday, is 9-8 away from home this season. The Pacers are 16-4 against the Eastern Conference.
These teams have already met twice this season. The Pacers claimed an 88-84 victory in Washington on November 26 before capturing a 100-84 home win just three days later.
The Pacers have won the last three meetings overall and nine of the past 10. Indiana has also won two straight in Washington.
